When a vehicle or item is successfully sold, seller fees apply based on the final sale price and listing type.
Upfront Listing Fee
A non-refundable listing fee is charged when your listing is created. This fee varies by category:
- Automobiles: $40
- Motorcycles: $40
- Boats: $40
- Heavy Equipment: $40
- Miscellaneous / Memorabilia: $10
- Auto Parts: $10
Standard Seller Fee
In addition to the upfront listing fee, a seller fee is applied once your item sells.
The seller fee is 5% of the final sale price, minus the upfront listing fee already paid.
Example
If the seller fee is 5%
And the vehicle sells for $10,000:
- 5% of $10,000 = $500
- Upfront listing fee (e.g., Automobiles) = $40
- Total seller fee due at sale = $460
What You’ll See at Checkout
The exact seller fee will always be clearly displayed during the transaction process before the sale is finalized, so you know exactly what to expect.
Fee Waivers
Some memberships or promotions may waive the seller fee for eligible sellers.
If your account qualifies for a fee waiver:
- The 5% seller fee will not be applied
- The upfront listing fee still applies and is non-refundable.
